I've always been drawn to the shadows. Even before I knew how to write, I would draw out stories—tales of love that defied convention, passion that burned too bright to last, and characters who found beauty in their broken places. My mother encouraged me with piles of blank notebooks, while my father pushed me to use my words instead.
I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Western Canada, where the wilderness taught me about survival, instinct, and the raw, untamed parts of ourselves we try to hide. Working in the Gas and Oil industry gave me insight into alpha personalities and the complex dynamics of power and vulnerability—elements that now populate my stories.
My journey into dark romance began with a simple question: What happens when love isn't pretty? When it's messy, complicated, and walks the line between salvation and destruction? The Bleeding Hearts series was born from this exploration—stories that don't shy away from taboo subjects but treat them with the complexity and humanity they deserve.
Today, I'm a mother of two boys who somehow tolerate their mother's dark imagination. When I'm not writing, you can find me painting, playing guitar (badly, but with enthusiasm), or getting lost in the mountains that inspired my love for primal, instinctual storytelling.

I believe the most authentic love stories exist in the spaces between light and darkness. Real love isn't always pretty—it's messy, complicated, and sometimes walks the line between salvation and destruction. I write these stories to explore the full spectrum of human emotion and to show that even in the darkest places, love can be redemptive.
Yes! The Bleeding Hearts series follows interconnected characters in the Celtic Beasts MC world. Characters from one book often appear in others, and there are overarching storylines that span the series. The Primal series is separate but shares my signature dark, emotional style. Reading in order gives you the full experience of character development and world-building.
The series was inspired by my experiences working in the Gas and Oil industry, where I encountered complex alpha personalities and the brotherhood culture that resembles MC dynamics. I wanted to explore what happens when love enters this world—how it complicates loyalties, challenges codes, and forces characters to choose between duty and desire.
I include comprehensive trigger warnings at the beginning of each book because reader safety and comfort matter to me. My books explore dark themes including violence, sexual assault, domestic abuse, and other sensitive topics. While these elements are integral to the story, I never include them gratuitously. Each serves the character development and plot.
I'm currently working on expanding The Primal series with the third and final novel, and I have several standalone dark romances brewing. I'm also exploring new subgenres within dark romance while staying true to my signature style—raw, emotional, and unapologetically real. My readers can expect more complex characters, intense relationships, and stories that challenge conventional romance.
